I'm back with another Stacking the Shelves. This week, just like last week, I only added two books to my shelves, but just like always, I'm very excited to get to them.

First, I was given a copy of The Company by the author, Chris Sloan.

And I was also granted an ARC copy of A Taste For Poison: Eleven Deadly Molecules and the Killers Who Use Them.

This is the first novel I've ever read that is classified as true crime, so I'm not sure what my review will be like but I'm very excited!

I'm back with another Stacking The Shelves. in last week's Stacking the Shelves post I mentioned that I usually only post these when I add more than two books, but recently this blog has been helping me keep my mind off things that are making me anxious, so I wanted to share my shelves with you this week too, even though I only added two books to them.

I actually managed to finish all five books that I posted about in last week's Stacking the Shelves post, so I have already been able to jump in to Friday the Sixteenth. I'm about a 20% of the way through right now, and once I finish, the review will be up as soon as possible.

I haven't started reading The Grimrose Girls yet but I am so excited to. I'm definitely going to be cracking that one open as soon as possible. Both of these books are ARCs from Netgalley and I am so excited to share my thoughts on them.

I'm back with my seventh Stacking The Shelves. I tend to only do this if I add more than two books to my shelves in a week, which doesn't happen that often since I mostly read ARCs and I don't like to let myself get too ahead of myself with them.

That being said, this week I added five books to my shelves.

All of these books are ARCs that I've received from Netgalley (thank you Netgalley!) and at the time of writing this I have read and typed reviews for the first four books, but I've only posted the review for True Loaf. The review for Hematite will be out on Monday, I Kissed A Girl will be out on Thursday, and Bleed More, Bodymore won't be posted until the end of September.

I have just cracked open Silent Pretty Things but that review should be out shortly after I finish reading.

I'm back with my sixth Stacking the Shelves. This week, I've added, what I consider to be, a lot of new books to my shelf.

So I added five books to my shelf this week, which kind of feels like adding a million, but I'll work through them slowly. I'm still reading The Life and Deaths of Frankie D. by Colleen Nelson, but I'm more than halfway through, so I should be done soon. Once I finish that, the next book on my list to read is Smoke and Shadows: The Trueheart.

All of these are ARCs that I was granted access to via Netgalley. All of them have release dates in 2021, but I'm so excited to get to them. I've already started reading Down World, which reminds me a little of Stranger Things, and so far I'm loving it. I'm hoping to love the other ones just as much.

I haven't done a Stacking the Shelves in five years, but I want to participate again to let people know the books that I added to my shelf this week! There are three:

 I was granted access to these titles via NetGalley, and I've already finished Revenge of the Sluts and The Wise One, and the reviews for those will be up before the end of the month. I just got my hands on The Poppy and the Rose today, and I'm really looking forward to starting it.

       I've already read and reviewed Blackmail Boyfriend. I was looking for something quick, fun, and cute and that's exactly what I got! (review here)

       Shadowed Strength and Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things are next on my list to read and I am very excited about both of them!

       I haven't added quite as many books this week as last week, but I have added a few:

These books were given to me from the authors in exchange for a review and I am very excited to start reading them!

This book was given to me from the publisher (Sourcebooks Fire) via Netgalley. I've written the two other books written by Natalie D. Richards, Six Months Later and Gone too Far, and I thought they were both fantastic, so I was overjoyed to get approved for this title as well. According to Goodreads I am currently 65% finished reading and I have loved every moment.

       I know I've already posted a review of Burn Girll by Mandy Mikulencak today and I normally don't post twice in one day, (the only other time I've posted twice is when the cover of Ignite me by Tahereh Mafi was released, almost a two years ago to date) but I always see this weekly meme but I've never tried it out myself, and lately, I've been talking about how many reviews I'll be writing and how many books have recently come into my possession one way or another, so I thought this week would be a great week to start doing this popular weekly meme.

 So recently I have added 6 books to my metaphorical shelf as they are all review copies. I've already read BOOST by D.a Paul and Emerge:The Awakening by Melissa A. Craven and those reviews will be up super soon, to say the least, I highly recommend both of them. Currently I'm reading The Veiled Truth by Andrea Washington and the rest of the books listed will soon follow!

       This is probably just me but sometimes I'm amazed at how active some book bloggers are. I already consider August a very busy month as I already have 5 posts lined up, but for some book bloggers, that would be considered a slow month, and it kind of blows my mind, so shout out to all of the bloggers who are on top of everything they do!
